Help Maher and His Family Survive in Gaza

Hello, our names are Rebecca King (Texas, United States), Katherine Taylor (California, United States), and Younis Ewaida (Europe). We are helping to raise funds for Younis’ brother, Maher, and his family in Gaza, Palestine.

“Maher and his wife have five sons and two daughters. They used to live in an apartment in the family building, but the war forced them, as it forced everyone else, to leave their home. Our entire extended family also left theirs. They were forced to flee to another area called Miraj, a neighborhood in the southern part of the Gaza Strip between Khan Younis and Rafah, where they stayed for about seven months. Maher and his family returned home during the ceasefire, but after the war resumed, they were forced to flee to the Al Mawasi area on the Khan Younis coast. Since then, Maher, his wife, and their seven children have been displaced in a tent in extremely difficult conditions. There, in the displacement areas of Al Mawasi, Khan Younis, the situation is inhumane and lacks the most basic necessities of life. Maher, his wife, and their children are forced to search for any means of survival. Some of his children travel long distances to get water, others search for firewood, and he goes out to secure something to eat. The catastrophic situation there is no secret, and what they are enduring is indescribable.”
We are urgently trying to raise €4,319 ($4,908 USD) monthly to help cover:
The goal has been rounded up to €52,000 (approx. $60,000 USD) for 12 months of survival. All donations are transferred directly to Maher through his brother Younis, due to the collapse of Gaza’s banking infrastructure and sanctions on digital payment systems.
